Our handyman services offer a wide range of repairs and maintenance, including small home repairs, general upkeep, finish carpentry, deck repair, fence and gate installation, floating shelving installation, door and lock services, and so much more.
At NOR Design and Construction, our handyman services are at your disposal. We take pride in our craftsmanship and our ability to provide services at an affordable price. We are one of the few companies that still maintains a one-hour minimum, ensuring no job is ever too small for us.
What is the difference between our Handyman Services and our Renovation Services? For the most part, it comes down to the scope or size of the project. Most Handyman projects last anywhere from one hour to one week. Larger or more complex projects typically require considerably more coordination, planning, scheduling, purchasing, and staff. These larger or more complex projects include full kitchen renovations, full bathroom renovations, or whole home renovations that include things like moving walls, building staircases, extensive drywall repairs…

How much will this cost?
We have a clear rate schedule, so there are no surprises. The math is simple: time plus materials. First, we always provide a free estimate, and the initial hour of work costs only $175. This covers some of our costs for traffic, gas, insurance, and phone bills – you get the idea. Each additional hour of work is only $125. If your project is larger, we also offer full-day rates that save you money.
When it comes to materials, we add a small markup to cover costs like ordering, pickup, and bookkeeping. Usually, your materials costs are similar to what you’d pay at your local hardware store.
Finally, with many years in business, we have most of the tools needed to handle anything; however, sometimes we may need to rent a specialty tool, and the associated fee will be included in your estimate.
